Welcome to the Dukes of Ale Homebrew Club, Albuquerque, New Mexico serving the local homebrewing community by sharing ideas on what and how to brew, and by holding competitions.

22nd State Fair Pro-Am Competition is now open.

    Rules:

  • Entries will be judged in accordance with BJCP standards. Professional and amateur entries will be judged separately. Professional fees are $8 per entry and amateur fees are $7 per entry. Entries must be registered online from July 31 to August 7. Two or three bottles with labels attached by rubber band should be submitted for each entry. In order to ensure anonymity during judging, bottles should be 10-22oz brown glass with no raised lettering or (non-competition) labels. No swing-top (Grolsch) or special shaped (Negro Modelo) bottles should be used. Any lettering or graphics on the caps should be completely obscured with black ink. Bottles, fees and entry summary sheet must be received at a dropoff location or postmarked by August 7. Judging will take place August 21.
  • You must be logged in as a user with a mailing address in order to enter the competition. If you are not yet a user, registration is easy using the login buttons in the upper right of this page. After login you can use the Dashboard button to edit your profile and provide a mailing address.
  • Professional brewers must use the Dashboard to edit their profile to indicate that they are professional and fill in their affiliation.
  • After login use the following link to start entry registration (Entry Registration).
